What is the difference between Coaching and Counseling/Therapy?
Ah, yes. The ol’ “Coaching v. Counseling” question. Here’s how we like to explain it (our brains are simple like this). Counseling and Therapy (besides the licenses that are required for those) focus on your past. Past trauma’s. Past hurts. Past experiences.
Coaching, however, focuses on right now. Yes, we will talk about your past at times, but coaching looks at where you are right now to give you real-time advice to deal with your current situation(s).
What is a "Sex Coach" anyway?
A sex coach is a trained expert who offers guidance and education on matters of sex, intimacy, and relationships. They assist in resolving challenges like a sexless marriage, low libido, or sexual dysfunction, while also helping you unlock your full erotic potential.
Unlike sex therapy, which addresses past traumas or dysfunctions, sex coaching focuses on practical tools to overcome current sexual barriers. Sex coaches offer unique advantages, such as helping clients embrace their deepest desires, understand boundaries, and develop skills for seduction..
Does Sex Coaching involve actual sex?
First and foremost, it’s important to clarify that sex coaching does not involve any sexual activity between coach and client. As professionals, we always remain fully clothed. (The only professionals legally allowed to engage in sexual contact with clients are sexual surrogates, and this can only occur under the supervision of a sex therapist.)
That being said, experiential sex coaches can offer hands-on guidance to help clients develop sexual skills. Within legal and ethical boundaries, we may demonstrate types of touch and seduction techniques. For instance, as a Somatica® coach, I can guide you in learning arousing touch, releasing physical inhibitions, and cultivating passionate, intimate connection.
How much does sex coaching cost?

In our discovery call we will go over your specific needs and will talk about everything we have to offer.
Do you accept insurance?
Unfortunately, no. Insurance does not cover sex and relationship coaching. However, if you have an HSA plan or Flex Spending account, talk with your provider if reimbursement is possible.
Do we have to do it virtually?
We are located in the Atlanta, Georgia (U.S.A) area. While we definitely prefer to do in-person coaching, we have found that doing virtual coaching for people not in our area can be just as effective. If you ARE near us, let’s do a free discovery call and work out the details!
